Nominating and Governance Committee
Craft Nova Scotia has recently struck a Nominating and Governance Committee and is currently looking for two (2) Craft Nova Scotia Members who are interested in serving on this committee.
The Committee will be comprised of:
- 1st Vice President (Chairperson) (1)
- Additional Board Member (1)
- Craft Nova Scotia Members (not seeking nomination to Board or Standards Committee) (2)
To review the current Board composition and identify positions that will be vacant, identify skills, experience and representation needed within the Board, solicit, review and vet nominations, and prepare a recommended slate for consideration by the membership
This body shall also be responsible for making recommendations for candidates for key committees, ongoing governance reviews for the organization and making recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The expectation is that Nomination and Governance Committee members will serve a 1-2 year term.
