Aestival Festival Anachronistic 2021/22 - Craft Nova Scotia Fundraiser set for February 4th! SAVE THE DATE
This is a virtual event to be broadcast to the comfort of your own home or office via Zoom.
Plans are taking shape for our re-imagined Craft Nova Scotia fundraiser for 2021/22. Our Aestival* Festival Anachronistic** fundraiser will be happening virtually, with very solid real-world results. You'll be able to choose works from some of the finest craftspeople in our region.
Tickets are $80 each, ONLY 100 tickets will be sold.
How it will work...
Ticket holders and Craft Nova Scotia staff and volunteers will gather on Zoom on Friday, February 4th, 2022.  Feel free to get glammed up for the festivities, or wear your coziest pajamas, your call.
There will be two "sittings" of 50 donations each, 6pm to 8pm for group one, 8:30pm to 10:30pm for group two.  With 100 pieces of beautifully handcrafted work up for grabs we want to keep your time online manageable, so splitting things up just made technological sense. You'll have the opportunity to note your preferred time slot on the form below.  Please note that we can't guarantee you'll get the time you want, but we will try our very best.  If we have an overwhelming majority asking for a particular time slot, we will do a random draw to determine who is in each group.
From there the action will be much like you see in person.  You'll have a chance to see images of the works up for grabs, and when your ticket is drawn you'll have 30 seconds to make your selection.  You will have to unmute yourself when we call your name to yell out your selection.  We will then mark your selection as taken on the screen and draw the next ticket. We expect it to be a fast paced, fun filled online extravaganza of craft!  No doubt there will be heckling from the crowd when a highly prized piece of craft gets snapped up.
We are excited about this chance to get to see you all through the looking glass (computer screen) and can't wait to reveal our donations for 2021/22. Our members continue to outdo themselves year after year!
Are you a member who'd like to donate their work for our Aestival fundraiser?  Contact Julie Rosvall, Program Director, or 902-691-1493.
Thank you for your ongoing support for Craft Nova Scotia in these strange times.
