Flo Greig, Greig Pottery

36 Front Street
Gagetown NB

Flo Greig has been involved in the arts since night school painting classes in Grade 4. Born in Sydney, NS, she attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax and with a BFA moved to New Brunswick as an art specialist, teaching pottery in the schools.

Coming from two generations of self-employed people, the DNA spoke and Flo left teaching children to start Greig Pottery Ltd. in the historic village of Gagetown, NB. Thirty-two years later, Greig Pottery supplies not only its home shop on Front Street in the village, but other shops across Canada with eight lines of pottery for all tastes and needs.

Special ties with Nova Scotia have remained strong with Flo attending the annual Atlantic Craft Trade Show as well as shows sponsored by the Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council. As a juried member of both the New Brunswick Craft Council and the Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council, Greig Pottery is proud to be recognized by its peers and the public as offering products that are not only imaginative but also well designed and functional.
