Update: December 18th, 2020

Craft Nova Scotia is pleased to relaunch our Designer Craft Shop, now offering a virtual collection of works by our juried members!

We are just getting started so please come back often as we're working hard to bring all of our artists' products online. Curbside pick-up is available at the Halifax Seaport, and we will contact you directly to arrange a time. Shipping is also available!

Buying craft online has its challenges and we are excited to work with you to make the experience seamless.  If you want to know more about a product -- its texture, colour, or what it would pair well with -- we are here for you! Email us at and we will make an appointment to ensure you find what you are looking for!

UPDATE - June 18, 2020
It is with great regret that Craft Nova Scotia announces the closure of the physical Designer Craft Shop at the Halifax Seaport.
With the advent of COVID-19, the Shop closed temporarily while keeping a close eye on public health guidelines and the possible return of cruise ships in the later summer months; however, with the official suspension of the cruise ship season in Halifax for the remainder of 2020, the difficult decision was made to close the store permanently.
The Shop was an outstanding vehicle for promoting and exhibiting excellence in craft in Nova Scotia and throughout the Atlantic provinces, reaching a large international audience. It offered a year-round opportunity for the local community to find work by juried members, augmenting the existing summer and winter craft shows. The Shop quickly developed a loyal customer base, as well as impressing visitors to Halifax with the quality and diversity of work from the region. The unforeseen closure will be felt by members and patrons alike.
The continued support and promotion of craft and craftspeople remains of the highest priority for Craft Nova Scotia, which is currently investigating the development of an online shop. Although it can be difficult to convey the unique qualities of handcrafted objects through virtual means, extensive online shopping has become part of the new reality and this may be the ideal time to transition to a digital model.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who worked diligently in support of the Designer Craft Shop. Through the combined efforts of members, customers, and staff, it became the quintessential destination for finding the best of what craft in Nova Scotia has to offer. We look forward to finding new ways to encourage and assist our members and are certain that our community will stand with us throughout these difficult times.
