Life's Work

Life’s Work: Six Conversations with Makers was a 2015 project developed by Craft Alliance Atlantic and Craft Nova Scotia, produced by Breakwater Studios and funded by Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Film and Creative Industries. The six short documentaries featured master craftspeople, their work, the beautiful parts of Nova Scotia where they live and practice their crafts.

In the winter and early spring of 2021 the Life’s Work Matinee series revisited these films, and with the help of communications consultant and former broadcaster, Crystal Garrett, catching up with the craftspeople that were originally featured.  You can see those conversations here.

The 2021 Life’s Work Matinee series of follow-up conversations was made possible by the support of the COVID-19 Emergency Support for Arts and Culture Organizations.
