Context & Medium

Please answer the following questions in the box below:
  • Does your work share cultural expressions or knowledge from marginalized communities?
  • If so, what is your relationship to these communities?
  • How might your work impact the communities reflected in the work?
  • How might your work impact communities in the place where the work is being exhibited?
Craft Medium
Please indicate the craft category you feel is most appropriate for your submission. These categories are only used to organize submissions for ease of viewing for jurors. We recognize that craft is not easily divided into categories of media or technique. We welcome you to place your submission in a cross-media category if you use multiple media or to select Other if you are unsure how to categorize your work or do not see an appropriate field that describes your work.
Are you open to being curated into a side-by-side solo exhibition?
In an effort to support the caliber of submissions we receive, the jury occasionally identifies the opportunity to pair two exhibitions together as side-by-side solos. A side-by-side exhibition features two artists sharing the gallery space to present solo shows with their own individual titles.
